What's the maximum number of registrants per event? |
|

There is no limit to the number of registrants that can register for your event.
However, we may need to make special arrangements if you anticipate more than 1000 registrants. |

Who
owns the data our registrants enter? |

| |
You remain the owner of any data entered
by your registrants at all times.
At the end of your event, you decide if you wish to keep your online
database for future events, or we can transfer it on to cd format
for you and the data will be deleted from our servers at your request. |

Can I have more than one fee for my event? |
|

Yes. You can have multiple fee levels for each event, such as Special Member pricing or 'Early-bird" fees. |

How long does it take to set up an event? |
|
| |
This depends entirely on the complexity of your event. A simple event may be active in less than 10 minutes. More complex events may take a few hours of reviewing and editing before activating. |

do we make the site look like our existing site? |

webevents allows you to choose your own colour scheme
and font styles to match your exisitng site. We even include a context-sensitive

Yes. You can specify your own logo, and multiple other
graphics to upload to your new site. |

we test our new site before activation? |

Of course! You can enter as many test registrations
as you like, and change your site until it's perfect. All of your
test registrations are reflected in the reports too so you can get
a feel for how it's looking. When you're ready to activate your
site, any test data is automatically cleared for you. |

Do you share our/client's details with anyone else? |

No. webevents has a strict Privacy Policy and we adhere strongly to the Privacy Act (1997/2002/2004) |

Can anyone else access our files? |
|

NO. Access to your data/files can only be made via your own secure password. This is a password that you choose. |

Do we have to worry about backups? |

No, we handle everything for you: we generate daily backups and use proven systems with built-in redundancies. The only thing you have to do is keep your password secret for authorization purposes. |

Can anyone steal an attendee's credit card number? |
|
| |
NO! webevents uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology just like the banks. All sensitive data is heavily encrypted during transmission and we do not store any card details on our servers. Unfortunately, this means your registrants must enter their credit card details every time they register for an event. |

How often are my reports updated? |

All of your reports are based on 'real-time' data. This means all of the information in your reports is up-to-the-minute accurate at all times. |

Can we download our data to use offline? |

Yes. You can export you data in csv format for use in your own spreadsheet/database applications at any time. We can also help if you have complex data export requirements. |

What payment types can we accept from our registrants? |

You can offer your registrants payment via Visa, Mastercard, Diners, American Express, Cheques, Bpay, Paypal, Direct Deposit, or if you wish, your registrants can also pay at the event door. |

Do we need our own Merchant account? |
|
| |
No. You can use webevents' merchant facilitites. We charge a simple 1% fee for use of our Merchant Account. |

Q. |
What are Chargebacks? |
|
| |
Chargebacks occur when a credit provider reverses a previously authorised transaction. This may be due to the credit card holder disputing the transaction or if the transaction is considered to be fraudulent. If you are using our merchant account, we may retain a small percentage of credit card revenue for up to 3 months to cater for possible chargebacks. At the end of this period any remaining monies are returned to you. |

What are Documentation fees? |

Whenever a chargeback occurs or further documentation is requested from the credit provider a documentation fee of usually $15 is incurred. This fee is charged by the credit provider and we pass that fe on to you.. |
